In 1998, Mr Goranson a buyer of Swedish origins purchases the Saint Pair du Mont stud farm and begins the task of restoring it to its former glory. Indeed, under his influence, the stud farm sets out in September 2004 to revive the great traditions of this historic site. With his manager Thierry de Chambord, Mr Goranson has upheld the classical traditions of Saint Pair while modernising the stud farm to give it a modern structure that is suited to the demands of today’s market.
The stud farm is spread out over 135 hectares of land, with 80 boxes divided between two separate structures.
ACCOMMODATION FOR BROOD MARES
The stud farm can provide your unbred or maiden brood mares with artificial light from the beginning of December onwards……
The stud farm has three spacious foaling boxes equipped with video surveillance and radiant heating.
The numerous different sized paddocks allow us to exercise mares firstly alone and then in small groups. They are equipped with foal feeders.
A small mobile enclosure can be set up in the paddocks to allow foals requiring reduced mobility to leave their boxes.
PREPARATION OF YEARLINGS
A new 20 hectare structure was brought into service at the end of 2005 to accommodate your yearlings in preparation for the sales.
It consists of a 30-box barn with shower, longe ring, exercise track, presentation track and numerous individual paddocks.
